Note #64910 Baltimore Contemporary
Tory Counterfeit" Choice Crisp Uncirculated

Reference #: CC96
"A very desirable note, as much for its history as for its appearance, though that too is worthy of appreciation. This is a ""Tory"" Counterfeit note of the Baltimore issue and while viewing it, one can easily understand the challenge the patriots faced in "

Continental Currency "September 26, 1778 $60
Note #215447" Almost Uncirculated

Reference #: CC98
"The reverse center is somewhat softly printed, but it is printed on clean, light and fairly crisp paper, with a trace of rounding at the corners. A light fold running along the very obverse base is probably the result of a prior mistake in handling. Signed by John Lawrence and Lodowick Sprogell. "

Continental Currency "John J. Ford, Jr." "January 14, 1779 $65
Note #173634 Justice" Crisp Uncirculated

Reference #: CC100
"This from the last set of issues in the Continental Currency series, which ceased after the January, 1779 emissions. Printed both in black and red, this is a stunning bill for the vividness of its colors. Called near Choice in the Ford Sale, due to tight trimming of its borders, the bold red on this note alone should win it the Choice designation. Light, flawless, crisp paper, and back ink which is as dark as the red ink is bright. Signed by Jo. Gardner and D. Wiste. ex. Stacks 01/05 Lot 1784 John J. Ford, Jr., Part VIII."
